Andrey Santos is an ambitious transfer target for Manchester United as they look to strengthen their midfield according to reports.
Santos is finally getting his chance at Chelsea having spent 18 months on loan in Ligue 1 at sister club Strasbourg, where he impressed.
The Brazilian scored ten goals last season as Strasbourg secured Conference League football, and he made his long awaited Chelsea debut at the Club World Cup.

Santos has had to be patient this season given he’s competing with the likes of Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia for minutes.
The 21-year-old has made nine appearances in all competitions, but has started just two of Chelsea’s eight Premier League games.
Santos was linked with a move to Saudi side Al-Qadsiah in the summer, and talkSPORT have now reported he’s an ambitious target for United.
The report states Santos was initially discussed during early conversations for Alejandro Garnacho in the summer.
TalkSPORT add that Chelsea’s position is clear with Santos not for sale, with sources saying he’s content enough minutes will come with the Blues to make Brazil’s World Cup squad.
Chelsea signed the Brazil international for around £13m from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama back in January 2023, and ex-Blue Ramires believes the midfielder can become a key asset for the club.
Chelsea want to offer Moises Caicedo new contract
Whilst Santos isn’t for sale, Chelsea are also working on rewarding Caicedo with a new contract given his brilliant form.
Caicedo switched agents earlier this month, which caused some speculation about his future, but it’s understood he’ll now be represented by his family.
The midfielder is said to be fully focused on Chelsea, and remains a key part of the club’s project moving forward.
There’s no rush to offer Caicedo a new deal. but it’s believed to be something Chelsea want to do, and reportedly talks will begin soon.
