Manchester United entertain Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Red Devils have picked up back-to-back league wins for the first time under manager Ruben Amorim, and will be aiming to extend the streak against the Seagulls.
Brighton have been a bogey club for United over the years, and the South Coast outfit have won six of the last seven meetings, including the last three at Old Trafford.
Despite this, United should go into the game as slight favourites, having secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Premier League champions Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.
Ahead of the clash, manager Ruben Amorim could be compelled to make a change in the final third with Mason Mount doubtful with a knock sustained against the Reds.
The former Chelsea man has had a history of injuries at club level over the past few years, and United may not take a risk with him tomorrow unless he is 100 percent fit.
Hence, we won’t be surprised if he starts on the bench even if he is in contention to play.
In that case, Amorim could have a straightforward decision to make. Benjamin Sesko should be reinstated into the line-up, having come off the bench at Anfield last weekend.
The Slovenian was in good form before the international break with goals in back-to-back games, but he was surprisingly dropped to the bench for the north-west derby.
Matheus Cunha led the line in his absence. Sesko replaced Mount shortly after the hour mark as Cunha dropped into an attacking midfield role alongside Bryan Mbeumo.
With Mount doubtful, it makes perfect sense for Sesko to reunite with Cunha and Mbeumo in attack.
Sesko, described as ‘really smart‘ by Amorim, should relish the prospect of facing the Seagulls, who have kept just a solitary clean sheet in his last 20 top-flight matches.
His pace on the counterattack has been his main strength, but United have yet to capitalise fully. Hopefully, we will see through balls for Sesko to run behind the Seagulls’ backline.
Alongside Sesko, Leny Yoro could get the nod in central defence if Maguire is not deemed fully fit.
A victory on Saturday could see United jump into the top four if other results go their way.
