PL News Monday 27 October 2025 - 17:28

Several Manchester United loanees were in action on the last matchday across the various European leagues. Read on as we look at their performances.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford played the full 90 minutes for Barcelona in their 2-1 loss at rivals Real Madrid. Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claimed, ‘as a number 9, he was worse than as a winger’.

Jadon Sancho

Sancho endured an embarrassing treatment in Aston Villa’s 1-0 win over Manchester City. He was brought on as a replacement for Emiliano Buendia in the first half, only to be substituted in the second.

Andre Onana

Onana kept his second clean sheet for Trabzonspor as they defeated Eyuspor 2-0. The club, via their social media account, described his performance as ‘unstoppable‘.

Ethan Williams

The 19-year-old winger started as Falkirk made it back-to-back victories in the Scottish Premiership, beating Dundee FC 2-1 at home.

Ethan Ennis

Ennis played the full 90 minutes to help Fleetwood Town record their third league victory of the campaign with a 2-1 win over Accrington Stanley.

Dan Gore

The young midfielder helped Rotherham United continue their resurgence, playing the entire duration of their 1-0 triumph at Barnsley.

Habeeb Ogunneye

The right back kept his place in Newport County’s starting XI as they won 3-0 at Harrogate Town, marking their third victory on the road this season.

Radek Vitek

Vitek continued his brilliant form for Bristol City, keeping his fifth clean sheet in their 1-0 triumph over Birmingham City. Only Coventry City’s Carl Rushworth has more clean sheets in the Championship than him.
