A pending new Chelsea player who has been described as a bright star has been performing exceptionally well this season.
Yesterday, we covered a story about the chairman of FC Kairat speaking about one of his players who is set to join Chelsea soon, detailing the plans there.

FC Kairat chairman, Kairat Boranbaev has been quoted as saying on Dastan Satpaev this weekend:
“Until he turns 18, he won’t be able to move to England, so next season he will stay with us – playing the first half of the season for Kairat until June–August, and then he will join Chelsea’s first team.”
It’s not a new story of course, we have been hearing about this rising star being set to join Chelsea for some time now, when he is old enough of course. Fabrizio Romano confirmed the new signing for Chelsea back in February 2025.
The real deal
Just like we kept hearing about Estevao Willian being the real deal before he arrived at Chelsea, we have consistently been hearing the same about Satpaev. He certainly seems like a real talent.
And now after those comments yesterday, Kairat’s chairman has been raving about his player.
“Dastan [Satpaev] is the best player of the season. He has performed exceptionally well for his age, and this has been noted not only by us but also by our opponents in the Champions League. He’s a bright Kazakhstani star.”
We can look forward to seeing him
From what I have seen, the player looks to have really good ball-striking power and aim. I think that is quite a rare trait in football today.
I really do like the look of him but it’s important to remember he is very young and will be very raw for some time yet.
