Manchester United have a long history of nurturing fantastic young talents in their academy.
Gabriele Biancheri is one of the brightest stars who has impressed with his skills and sharp instincts in front of goal.
Biancheri stole the limelight with his stunning display in the 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur Under-21s.
He spearheaded the attack and scored two first-half goals.
He also picked up an assist for Diego Leon’s stunning solo goal, even though it was all about how the young defender fooled six Tottenham players to register his first goal.
Courtesy of Jack Fletcher’s incisive pass, Biancheri was able to complete his hat-trick in the 96th minute.
Biancheri could be sent on loan
The 19-year-old has played seven Premier League 2 games this campaign, bagging four goals and one assist.
He was named in the starting XI in only four of those seven games.
He also netted a goal for Wales Under-21s in their 2-0 win over Austria earlier this month.
Biancheri made a permanent step up to the U21s after shining for the U18s by bagging an impressive 34 goals in just 49 games.
His performances clearly show that he deserves to get a taste of senior football.
We believe United could send the teenage sensation on a short-term loan in January.
An opportunity with the first team will be a litmus test for the young striker.
A short six-month spell could also signal to the Red Devils whether Biancheri has what it takes to play for the United set-up in the future.
The competition is immense with Ethan Wheatley and Chido Obi also in the mix.
Biancheri will have to continue his purple patch if he wants to catch the attention of head coach Ruben Amorim.
