A former Chelsea player has gone in on one current player at the club after his involvement in a goal from the weekend.
Chelsea lost 2-1 at home to newly promoted Sunderland in what was a very poor result and performance by The Blues.

Many involved with Chelsea are still seething about the defeat and reviewing the game. Some pin the blame on Enzo Maresca, others on the squad build not being good enough. Gary Neville pushed his blame towards Maresca when speaking about Chelsea’s ‘yo-yo’ inconsistencies so far this season.
Chelsea were 1-0 up in the game but then after a long throw-in by Sunderland led to their equaliser, the game was anyone’s then to take.
It was Sunderland who took all three points when some very poor Chelsea defending gifted them with a perfect chance in the dying moments of the game.
Mikel blames Tosin
Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is placing his blame on defender Tosin Adarabioyo for what he didn’t do before this goal went in.
As cited by SPTC, Mikel said on his Podcast this week:
“I don’t like pointing fingers but… Tosin, what are you doing?! The Sunderland striker controlled the ball for 5-6 seconds and you’re standing behind him? Chalobah as well, yes. One of them should have been proactive.”
Others can be blamed too
Trevoh Chalobah could have done more to come across and nick the ball off the striker as well, but the Chelsea midfielders were also far too slow in tracking back and following the Sunderland runners. It was almost as if they had just given up at that point.
