Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos says he has gone that extra mile for one of his Blues team mates this season.
The Blues have signed a lot of new players over the last few seasons under the new ownership as they partook in a huge squad rebuild and have spent a lot of money doing so.

Players have come and gone, so it has always been important to try and keep building that family and community feel in the club and create a togetherness.
When new players arrive, they always need some of the current players to help them out and help them settle in around the club and around the city.
This is exactly what Joao Pedro and Andrey Santos have done for their fellow countryman Estevao Willian, who arrived at Chelsea this summer.
Estevao has hit the ground running and scored another beautiful goal for Chelsea against Wolves on Wednesday night. Santos also bagged a good goal in that game. This was Santos’ first Chelsea goal.
Santos on Estevao
The midfielder has been speaking to the Chelsea website this week and was asked about how Estevao was settling in and what he thinks of him.
‘Joao Pedro and I have helped [Estevao] because he arrived here two months ago in a new country, a new culture and a completely new language,’ Andrey explained. ‘So it’s a process for him.
‘He has done really well – he’s amazing. In Brazil, he did amazing, and even for the national team, and now for Chelsea. I’m so happy to play with him.’
Sticking together
Players certainly need this when they arrive from a foreign country. It’s all about sticking together and making sure they are all together fighting on the pitch for each other and for Chelsea.
