Estevao is going to be a global superstar, that’s just a fact. There’s no way around it. He’s good enough, and he looks to have the personality. He’s grounded, with a good family to support him, but also has that right amount of desire to be the main character too.
Estevao on Stamford Bridge return
As part of that, he’s learning English and doing more and more media as he also increases his playing time.
“I thank you for all the love I’ve received from you and all the support I’ve had at Stamford Bridge,” Estevao said in an interview with the club’s official website.
“I’m so happy, it’s a dream to be here and to play at the Bridge. Thank you for that love and I hope to repay you out on the pitch.”
His most special moment so far, the one which announced him to the world, was his winning goal against Liverpool in the 95th minute a few weeks ago. He talked about what a feeling that was to have scored at Stamford Bridge in those circumstances.
“It’s hard to sleep after a moment like that with the adrenaline flowing, but I was just so happy.”
If he goes on to have the sort of career we expect him to, that goal could end up with the same sort of resonance that a teenage Wayne Rooney’s goal against Arsenal has.

Earlier in the presser, Maresca had spoken a little about the red card Delap picked up and how he had been forced to speak to the whole team about their disciplinary issues.
