Aston Villa will take on Maccabi Tel Aviv at Villa Park on Thursday as they look to get back to winning ways in the Europa League.
Go Ahead Eagles beat Villa 2-1 last time out in the competition, with Unai Emery‘s side beaten by goals either of half-time.
The Spaniard will hope that the loss would have served as a lesson for his players, however, with Thursday’s game providing a chance to get back on track.
And they should, with Villa the massive favourites to beat Maccabi Tel Aviv, who are yet to win a game in the Europa League this season.
Maccabi Tel Aviv away fans are banned from Villa Park on Thursday, after a decision was made by the local police – a decision that provoked widespread debate.

Villa were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool on Saturday, after Mohamed Salah and Ryan Gravenberch netted either side of half time.
It was a disappointing performance from Emery’s side, who had come into the game off the back of wins against Tottenham and Manchester City.
But the Villans struggled to create any big chances against the home side, often resorting to pop shots from outside the box.

With a kinder run of fixtures now approaching, Villa will hope to start in the right way by defeating Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday.
The match will be live on TNT Sports 2, and can be streamed by those with the Discovery+ app.
