Two clubs that Chelsea insiders see as the favourites to win the Premier League this season have been named today.
Chelsea are trying their best to play down their own chances of winning the Premier League this season at least, insisting that it is still early doors in their project under the new ownership – which it is of course.

He believes that if Chelsea are still where they are right now come February time, then they will be title contenders. But until they get there, if they do get there, then they are not contenders.

Chelsea not favourites yet
According to Chelsea insiders, via a report from The Daily Mail today, Chelsea are not the favourites to win the Premier League this season.
The report claims that Chelsea insiders see Arsenal and City as the favourites this season, and it is hard to disagree.
Arsenal added depth to their squad in the summer, which you need to compete, and have come second in each of the last three seasons.
City have Erling Haaland, who can make a difference as much as any individual, and have been there, done that, winning six titles since 2017 under Pep Guardiola.
City have been poor though
I don’t think City will be there at the end of the season in all honesty. They might make top four, but I don’t think they will be serious title contenders. They have just not been good enough and a re very beatable.
