Manchester United host Brighton & Hove Albion in today’s Premier League encounter.
Ahead of the game, manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that a couple of injury doubts.
Harry Maguire and Mason Mount picked up knocks during the 2-1 win over Liverpool last weekend, and are doubtful to face the Seagulls at Old Trafford.
Amorim may not take risks with the duo, and we anticipate a couple of changes against Brighton.
The Seagulls have won six of the previous seven meetings against United, including the last three at Old Trafford. They did the league double last season.
The Red Devils will be aiming to put an end to the losing streak this evening.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Predicted Line-up:
Senne Lammens is poised to start his third straight game for the Red Devils. He had a clean sheet on his debut against Sunderland and looked composed in the north-west derby last weekend. The Belgian is guaranteed to continue in goal.
In front of him, we anticipate one change to the backline with Maguire deemed doubtful. Leny Yoro should come in. The £48 million-rated star is poised to partner Matthijs de Ligt and Luke Shaw in the heart of the Red Devils defence.
Amad Diallo had a wonderful outing at right wing-back against the Reds. He provided an early assist for Bryan Mbeumo and also worked hard off the ball. He should continue in the position.
Diogo Dalot has got the nod over Patrick Dorgu at left wing-back in recent games. Dalot is more composed defensively than the Dane, which is an obvious reason behind his inclusion.
Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes have been Amorim’s regular choices in the centre of the park. The former got the nod over Manuel Ugarte last weekend despite playing 90 minutes in two international friendlies.
Ugarte has not been in the best of form, losing regular possession. A change is unlikely on the cards.
Further forward, Benjamin Sesko could be reinstated in the starting XI with Mount deemed doubtful.
