Chelsea could well be about to brace themselves for an approach for Enzo Maresca from a top European club this week.
Things are very up and down for Maresca at Chelsea right now and if you look at the table, being sat in 9th place after 9 games played is nowhere near good enough. There will always be pressure being Chelsea manager, and it’s no different for Maresca now after their latest defeat at home against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

There is no indication that Maresca is even thinking about leaving Chelsea or whether Chelsea would want to move him on right now or not, but it is a fact that Maresca has recently been linked with a move to Juventus to become their manager, or at least there is interest there from the Italian side.
The public word is that Maresca is happy at Chelsea right now which would suggest he would not answer the phone to Juventus. But that theory is about to be tested I reckon.
Juventus on the hunt for a new manager
According to Fabrizio Romano on X today, Juventus are on the verge of sacking head coach Igor Tudor after recent poor results.
The club has decided to change with formal steps will follow on a new manager soon.
Tudor has been personally informed about Juventus decision to sack him this morning.
Massimo Brambilla will be the interim coach ahead of club’s decision on new manager.
Interesting next hours and days
It will be interesting to see if they do make an approach and even more so whether Maresca would be interested in going there.
If he does, there will be many Chelsea fans who would be upset, but many who would celebrate, as well as others just taking the middle ground.
