Chelsea icon joins Gary Neville in elite group

PL News Wednesday 29 October 2025 - 14:43

Eden Hazard has become the latest Chelsea player to be inducted into the Premier League hall of fame, joining Gary Neville in the class of 2025.

There is no doubt that he’s the most talented player we’ve ever seen at Chelsea in terms of pure ability on the ball. We’ve had some true greats over the year, but perhaps never had a player like Hazard who you felt could win you any game with just a moment of magic, regardless of who he was playing with or against.

He didn’t have a career in terms of goals or trophies that quite matched up to his insane talent, but the fact he’s already in the Hall of Fame shows how widely recognised his incredible ability was around the world.

Hazard’s message as he joins all time greats of the league

Eden Hazard added to the hall of fame.

The winger has just put out a sweet message on his social media to celebrate receiving the award, showing his usual modesty:

“For a small Belgian guy from Braine-le-Comte playing for fun, being inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame with these greats of the game at 34 years old is crazy,” the winger wrote.

“Thank you to all of you; I will see you soon, my friends!”

He joins John Terry (2024), Ashely Cole (2024), Petr Cech (2023), Didier Drogba (2022) and Frank Lampard (2021) as the Blue representatives in the hall of fame. N’Golo Kante next?
