Bowen performed well against Villa in 2023 and has typically had a positive output when facing the Midlands outfit.
The England international has netted five and assisted one against the Villans, hammering home his qualities for both West Ham and Hull City.
His performances haven’t gone unnoticed and have sparked interest from Tottenham ahead of the January transfer window.
Spanish outlet Fichajes reported on 29 October that Spurs are eyeing a potential £52 million move for Bowen should the Hammers opt to let him go.
Should the 28-year-old fancy a move to North London, there is no reason why Villa Park wouldn’t be seen as an attractive destination.
The Irons’ skipper is facing a transfer decision ahead of January, and the prospect of a B6 move could be tempting for all parties.
Bowen’s dad could push for Aston Villa move
Back in his Hull City days, there were plenty of reports suggesting that Bowen was a Villa fan.
The Englishman scored his first senior career goal at Villa Park, further fueling these rumours among supporters in the Midlands and beyond.
The winger did put an end to these rumours before his West Ham switch as he said: “I’m not a Villa fan, my dad’s a Villa fan, let’s get this straight.“
Although he may not be a supporter himself, the prospect of playing for his dad’s club could be a dream for the attacker and his family.
Villa could certainly benefit from the attacking expertise and goalscoring talents of Bowen, especially if he’s available for around £50m.
The January window is definitely going to be interesting in claret and blue.
