Confirmed Man United XI vs Nottingham Forest: Amorim makes no changes for the first time this season

PL News Saturday 1 November 2025 - 13:13

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has named his side for today’s Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest.

Amorim has made no changes to his side that registered a stunning 4-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend.

Senne Lammens continues in goal after three impressive performances in a United shirt.

He has yet to lose a game for his new club.

Matthijs de Ligt continues at the heart of the defence and will be partnered by Yoro and Luke Shaw.

Amad Diallo and Diogo Dalot will operate as the two wing-backs.

They have started four times together and won all four games.

Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro form the two-man midfield.

The experienced duo have played a pivotal role in the last few games.

Despite lacking the legs to effectively cover the ground, Casemiro has shown great positional awareness and discipline to guard the defence.

Bryan Mbeumo has been in sensational form since moving to Old Trafford.

He scored twice against the Seagulls and Amorim will hope that the Cameroon international puts his name on the scoresheet again.

Matheus Cunha has a superb record against Forest, netting three goals in four league games.

He scored his first United goal vs the Seagulls and will be desperate to double his goal tally today.

Benjamin Sesko retains his place at the front, with Mason Mount settling for a place on the bench.

Sesko has two goals and one assist in his last three starts.

A victory for Man United could push them to the second spot in the league table.

It will also mark United’s fourth consecutive league victory, a spectacle not many could have imagined three weeks back.

Confirmed Man United line-up (3-4-2-1): Senne Lammens; Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Luke Shaw; Amad Diallo, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot; Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha; Benjamin Sesko
