Chelsea to unleash dangerous attacking weapon on Qarabag – they’re not ready for this

Chelsea are going into this week on the back of a good win, knowing that two good results this week put them into a strong position in the Champions League and the Premier League.

First on the agenda is our nasty trip of the CL group stage, all the way to face Qarabag. It’s a chore – but there will be some players delighted with the chance to pick up some minutes.

Among those will be Estevao Willian, who is doing great every time he gets on the pitch but is being very carefully introduced to first team action. In the Premier League he’s saved as a sub, but in Europe he should be unleashed from the start.

We expect him to feast against Qarabag, and hopefully can come out of the game unscathed and ready to make an impact at the weekend when we take on Wolves on Saturday night. He scored a first goal in continental action against Ajax in our last outing in Europe when he won and netted a penalty, and will hope to add to that this week.

You wouldn’t bet against him, that’s for sure. Those Azerbaijani defenders aren’t ready for him.

In other news…

We’re getting towards transfer season again now, and we’re hearing the first rumours about Chelsea players potentially departing the club. Tyrique George is a name we’re starting to hear mentioned, given he came close to leaving in the summer.

Robert Sanchez has spoken about what Enzo Maresca said to his players after Chelsea’s big win. The coach apparently highlighted a few key factors behind his side’s win, and noted we need more of them in weeks to come.
