One player who has been recently linked to Aston Villa is Jorge, with reports suggesting that Villa’s scouts were recently present at a Cruzeiro match.
ESPN on 6 November believes that the Brazilian club will demand at least £30.8m if talks are to begin are a potential deal. However, Emery may have an ace up his sleeve.

Given the size and reputation of the Premier League, it is no surprise that even the worst clubs in the division boast numerous international players.
Playing for a team in the division helps each player receive more recognition for their performances, which often results in a call-up for their country, with Villa players such as Morgan Rogers now internationals.
This is what Emery could use to tempt Jorge to push a move to Aston Villa.

With the World Cup also just around the corner, this could be a trump card for Emery to ensure that the deal is completed in the January transfer window.
