Arseblog has been crowned Best Fan Media (aka Best Fran Merida) at the FSA Awards, edging out a very strong field in the public vote.
James and Tim were on hand to pick up the gong at Nobu in Portman Square on a night that also saw Arsenal’s Declan Rice and Alessia Russo named the best men’s and women’s players.
We were up against familiar rivals – The Anfield Wrap, The Square Ball, HLTCO – plus Alternative Wales and Not the Top 20. To come out on top again is something we never take lightly. This is our fourth win in the category since 2018, and our seventh FSA/FSF award overall, stretching back to 2012 when the whole thing kicked off.
You might think repeated success would make us blasé, but it’s the opposite. The landscape gets more crowded every year, and the bar keeps rising. To earn your vote – and more importantly, your time and attention – still means a hell of a lot to us.
The team is a fair size these days, with more than 15 of us chipping in one way or another, so a big shoutout to everyone who plays a part in keeping this show on the road.
And, of course, thank you. For voting, for reading, for listening, for commenting, for supporting us on Patreon, and for keeping us honest. We don’t take any of it for granted.
Big love.
